GoPro HERO 12 BLACK
You could think of a million new features, wild technological advancements and improving camera quality to 100k. Or you can just make the battery last longer.
That’s the big, yet simple change from the GoPro HERO 11 to the GoPro HERO12 BLACK, but don’t underestimate how important this is. We wonder how much crazy underwater animal footage, gnarly bike jumps or epic tubes in the surf have been due to the end of a battery.
The new GoPro delivers 70 minutes of continuous recording at 5.3K60, over 95 minutes at 5.3K30, and over 155 minutes of continuous recording at 1080p30. If you were to invest in a second battery, that means—theoretically—you could record uninterrupted for almost two and a half hours.
It can also go underwater to a depth of over 30 feet, and you no longer need special housing to do it. Rad.
As well as this, there’s a real push for social media connection at GoPro. This new release can shoot horizontal-vertically (if that make sense) and then there’s the GoPro Quik app, which will automatically turn your video footage into a short video montage, saving time at the other end.

RED COOLBAG BACKPACK
An esky, but it’s a backpack. Genius.
Eskies are one of the greatest modern inventions, however portability–specifically over long distances—is a major design flaw.
Not only is the Red Paddle Co Coolbag Backpack much easier to carry, but it’s watertight, airtight and leakproof, so you can count on keeping your food together and your beers secure.
Celebrate at the summit of the next mountain with an ice cold froffie, before attacking the descent with a bit more steam than usual.

SHEILA SWIMWEAR
Sheila is a new swimwear brand for everyone, offering a hybrid activewear-meets-swimwear product that hasn’t been seen before in the Australian market.

Catering to a broad range of Australian sizes, from 4 – 24, the collection is chic, and designed to make everyone feel comfortable. It ain’t easy for everyone to feel chill at the beach, be that Bells or the Bahamas, but these togs seem to be the perfect solution.

GOSUN FUSION SOLAR OVEN
The futuristic-sounding GoSun Fusion Solar Oven is, indeed, a futuristic oven designed to take travelling.
Cook, fry, steam, bake, or boil up to 290 ºC on the road, in a boat, on the beach – anywhere. It works like this: two parabolic reflectors concentrate the sunlight into the cooking chamber, trapping the energy inside for, well, cooking.
Spending almost 700 bucks on an oven might seem like a lot but imagine how much money you could save by being able to cook wherever you go. Whip up a roast at Bondi, bake some cookies in the Amazon – you do you. And eat well.
