GoPro HERO11 BLACK CREATOR EDITION
The GoPro 11 only came out earlier this year, but there’s already three new variations on the market from this relentlessly innovative tech juggernaut.
The HERO11 Black Creator Edition is an all-in-one content-capturing machine, which includes several handy features to help you be a professional vLogger, like a light, a mic and mounting options.
For those that know what they’re talking about: there’s pro-quality 5.3K video, HyperSmooth 5.0 video stabilization, enhanced audio, powerful LED lighting and 4 hours of 4K recording per charge.
For those that don’t: there’s absolutely everything you need to make your trip look way cooler than anyone else’s.

FONDU SWIMWEAR
When it comes to surf style, the line between looking good, feeling comfortable and unintentional partial-nudity is a fine one.
As we move into the summer months down under, New Zealand swimwear brand Fondu have come up with a happy-medium for those who don’t want to wear a wetsuit, but are also reluctant to flash every single person in the line-up.
Tanya Kerr is the designer behind the gear, and it’s easy to tell she surfs. The swimsuits offer more support and sun protection than your average bikini, yet are still cute af. You can easily crush a several-hour shred in these before feeling good enough to spend several more hours crushing drinks on the beach.
Shakas for days.

SAMSARA TRACKABLE BAGS
Have your bags ever gone missing on a trip? Good news — Samsara trackable bags are putting an end to lost baggage drama.
This means no more spending two hours on-hold to an airline computer voice while your bag sits on the back of a truck headed for downtown Timbuktu, where it will either sit unused or be divided out amongst the locals, a small Malian child now the proud owner of your favourite hoodie. Samsara bags use Apple AirTag Technology, so you can track your suitcase using the Find My phone app on your iPhone.
Not only that, the bag doubles as a portable desk so you can work or play on-the-go. Not bad.

CAPE BYRON WHISKY
Beaches, surf, hippies, Byron Baes…and whisky?
It’s probably not the first thing you think of when someone mentions the words Byron Bay, but locally-owned Cape Byron Distillery are the new guys on the block that are making waves when it comes to making delicious whisky in Australia. And they’re killing it.
The Original Single Malt is the colour of a Byron Bay sunset, and offers soft vanilla, creme brulee and biscotti flavours.
There’s also the Chardonnay Cask Single Malt, refined with a deep hue influenced from Australian chardonnay casks — could you get anymore Aussie?
After a dram or six of both (for research purposes), get lost settled on The Original as our favourite, but you’d better try it yourself and let us know.

NEBULA 4K PROJECTOR
A new movie projector has entered the chat.
The Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K Projector is better than other projectors for two main reasons.
Firstly, even though it’s technically a ‘mini-projector’, it is not small on quality. With 4K resolution, 2400 ISO Lumens (meaning it is powerfully bright) and plenty of other technical jargon that we won’t bore you with, there’s enough quality here to impress even the snobbiest of cinema buffs.
Secondly, and most importantly for travel: it is very, very transportable. Compact, sturdy and with a solid handle on top, we can easily see this being packed into the car on a weekend away with mates, or on that big family holiday each summer.

OFFBEAT, LONELY PLANET
Have you heard of Con Son Island? What about Nagaland? Or Tajkistan’s famous Fann Mountains?
Travel icons Lonely Planet have been guiding people around the world long before e-Visas were a thing, and for their latest offering Offbeat, they’ve come up with 100 ‘amazing places away from the tourist trail’. We’re not one for guidebooks, but Offbeat is inspiration from the comfort of the coffee-table that we can definitely get around. More to the point, there are a lot of destinations in here that could really do with seeing the faces of a few travellers. Our pick is Ibo Island: A low-key island off the coast of Mozambique with fresh seafood, and easy vibes. And we’ve gotta be honest, even we’d never heard of it.
